GMP were subcontracted by a local main contractor and their structural engineers to design and install a secant wall solution for a basement that encompassed the whole site. The site was challenging due to difficult access and a very restricted working space. A guide wall was installed to provide assurances over pile positioning. There were design changes by the client during the project, but it was still completed within the allotted programme. Approximately 1,000 tonnes of sand was excavated from this basement.
